Accompanying the Cologne Hardware Fair, A. Wendt GmbH hosts its own in-house exhibition for experts from several European countries to meet and exchange experience. (published in "Öffentliche Sicherheit 5-6/12" by Kurt Hickisch).

Innovations. Not even high-class locking cylinders can guarantee absolute insurmountability. Yet, if mounting the technical safeguards means milling for an hour and wasting expensive special mills, any intruder will think twice about attacking such a lock.
In Lock Your World's (www.lockyourworld.com) new locking system pylocx, power is supplied by the "key" featuring 2 AAA batteries and a number keypad. This key called transponder is placed on a contact point, which is a circular conical metal plate with three rings, adheres magnetically and thus adjusts itself on the surface.
The lock inside a container is energised via the surface's electrical conductivity. A cryptographically secured identifying process between the key and the evaluation unit on the inside is initiated. If the numerical code entered is correct, the tubular safes' containers will open or their motor lock will be actuated. This happens via the key's three power contacts that have their counterparts on the lock's contact plate. Since power is supplied from the outside, there is no danger of a blocked lock in case the batteries inside are no longer fully charged. Plus, the lock offers hardly any possibilities for mechanical attacks.
