A vehicle provided for voluntary staff in the Main-Kinzig area
A project happening right at your doorstep. This is where social commitment should begin. Lock Your World is sponsoring Klasse2000
Klasse2000 is the largest national program to promote health, drug and violence prevention in primary schools. It accompanies children from first to fourth class to bolster their health and general life skills early and continuously. In order to do this, it relies on the cooperation of teachers and external Klasse2000-health promoters. Klasse2000 encourages the positive attitude of children towards health and imparts knowledge about the body. Exercise, a healthy diet and relaxation are key elements of Klasse2000 as is dealing with emotions and stress or strategies for solving problems and conflicts. That way, Klasse2000 supports children in mastering life without drugs, violence or health-damaging behaviour. We, too, believe that education cannot start early enough and have been supporting this useful and effective initiative for years. mehr...

Coplare - Coastal Plastics Recycling
Coastal Plastics Recycling - it's all in the name. Tons of plastic waste are being washed ashore worldwide. Often, the local population does not know how to handle all this waste. Therefore, an extraordinary project called Coplare was initiated. The project's two founders, Susanne Tölzel and Joachim Probst from Wiesbaden, set out to roll up their sleeves and help others to help themselves. Western industrial nations are already making money out of plastic waste or, for example, use it as building raw material. The two founders want to transport knowledge about these possibilities to where it is needed, that is where the plastic waste is actually washed ashore. Then, the waste can be recycled or profitably sold there. mehr...
